"It's the teacher that makes the difference, not the classroom."

“What you do on the first day of school will determine your success for the rest of the year”
and this is the idea that I will own from Dr. Harry Wong. One important role of a teacher is classroom manager. You cannot say that your teaching is effective if you have a poor managed classroom. As teachers, we have to set rules and procedures in order to have a smooth and orderly class with respectful students because if we fail to do this what will happen in our class is just a complete chaos.

Having a well-managed classroom will provide an environment which is conducive to learning, and the one who is responsible for doing this is the teacher. As a special education teacher, setting rules and routines will help children with autism to understand the differences and transition in their lives. It will also help them to learn what behavior is appropriate in any situations.

  1. I agree that an effective teacher is a good manager. They say that a classroom is like a forest that is full of different wild animals, and as a future educator it is your duty to tame the wild. Make a difference and a positive change to your future students :)

  4. Very well said miss Hazel. In addition to that as an educator before you will attend your class you should always be prepared holistically. I can see you will become an effective SPED teacher someday. Keep it up! 😄
